Terms and Conditions

Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before booking your course or buying an eGift Card. By booking and attending a class or buying an eGift Card you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations must be made in writing by email

For courses and workshops we can only provide a refund (minus a 10% admin fee) for cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date. For cancellations less than 14 days before the course or workshop there will be no refunds or transfers unless I can re sell the places that you have booked.

All clients are asked to agree to our terms and conditions upon booking a course or workshop

If a course or workshop is cancelled you will be offered a refund or a gift card to the same value of your course.

Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme. If the participant fails to attend all or any part of the course the full course fees are payable and we do not offer full or partial course date transfers.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY BOOKING IF THERE IS ANOTHER SHUT DOWN

  • If the government enforce another lockdown then we will offer either a refund or a chance to reschedule to all students who haven’t already begun a course. Rescheduling will be done through giving you a code to the value of your original booking.

  • If you are halfway through the course, we will refund you the remainder of the value of the sessions you have not been able to take.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM ILL WITH SUSPECTED OR DIAGNOSED COVID BEFORE A CLASS TAKES PLACE

  • For 1 or 2 day courses, If we are given 8 or more days notice, we will offer you a refund or reschedule.

  • If we are given 7 or less days notice, we are unable to automatically offer you a refund or reschedule as this may not be enough time to resell your place. In this event we will always try to re sell your place for you before the start date of your course and if we are successful we will then be able to refund you (minus 10% admin charge) or try and transfer your place on to a future course where possible.

  • In the event that we cannot sell your place we do allow you to send any friend or family member of your choice to class in your place.

  • If you are unable to attend one of the weekly sessions from a 4, 8 or 12 week course due to covid or illness we are unable to offer a refund for that session but there could be an opportunity for you to arrive early to the next session or potentially to reschedule a session but these are only if it can be agreed at the convenience of your teacher.

TECHNICAL ISSUES AND BREAKAGES

Experienced and trained staff only will handle and fire your ceramic work. However, by the nature of ceramics there is always a risk of technical failure for which we cannot be held responsible.

COLLECTION OF WORKS

You will be emailed when your pieces are ready for collection, usually this is within three weeks after the last date of your course, but this can take longer depending on our kiln firing scheduling.

We recommend you collect your finished work as soon as possible once you have received the pickup instructions via email to help keep our storage area clear, therefore avoiding damage.

If finished ceramic work is not collected within 1 month of the pick up email being sent out, we will sadly have to dispose of it due to space issues, this is detailed in the pick up email. Alternatively you can organise for your pots to be sent to you at an additional cost.
