Our Courses
Starting in October 2021, Croft Pottery will offer a range of wheel throwing and hand building courses aimed at different levels and age groups.
We will run weekly evening and day time courses, one day courses as well as weekend and residential courses.
We will also run advance courses in making, Glazing and firing.

Service Description
Christmas wreaths and Centre piece workshop with Porcelain specialist Mel Armsby. Come and learn how to make your own Christmas wreath or decorated candle center piece from Porcelain clay. In this 4 hour workshop Mel will introduce you to working with porcelain using a range of intricate hand modelling and building techniques to create a stunning center piece for your Christmas table or to hang on a wall or door. In the morning you will be introduced to working with porcelain, learn various techniques and processes to create fine decoration and begin to work on your creation. After a one hour break for lunch you will return to apply your decoration to a pre made wreath/center piece former building up layers of seasonal detail to create your final outcome. Your work will be fired and ready for collection in advance of the Christmas holidays ready for you to use as decoration in your own home or give as the perfect gift.
